In summer, the garden at La Fenice produces tomatoes, aubergines, peppers, apricots, figs, plums and peaches, while winter is the time for potatoes, onions, a variety of broccoli, fennel, spinach and beet.
In September, the Mandaras harvest their own grapes and in October they pick their own olives and nuts.
Their lemon trees are laden all year round.
Costantino’s wife, Angela and son, Giulio look after healthy appetites. Every day they pick whatever fruit and vegetables are in season and whip up in delicious meals.
